Hundreds have honoured Newcastle cinema icon, Margaret Goumas, following her sudden death last week.
A special ceremony was held at the Greek Orthodox Church, an emotional time for all, particularly her family and long-time husband, Theo.
Mrs Goumas suffered a suspected heart attack – she was 75.
She was a huge supporter of arthouse cinema, and a former Newcastle councillor.
