The northwest went flipping mad today to celebrate Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day.
Volunteers with the Uniting Church and the Lions Club spent the morning cooking at Tamworth Public School.
The pancakes proved a tasty treat for students at recess.
Proceeds from their sale will go to the Victorian bushfire appeal.
