YOUNG BOYS CHARGED OVER CASINO HOUSE FIRE

Four teenagers, the youngest just 12-years-old, have been arrested in relation to a fire which destroyed a home at Casino on Monday afternoon.

The blaze broke out at the property on Hare Street at around 4 o’clock, with firefighters able to stop it spreading to nearby timber stockpiles.

The small single level home couldn’t be saved.

Three of the teenagers, aged 12, 13 and 14 were arrested nearby, while a second 14-year-old handed himself into police.

The group are expected to be dealt with under the Youth Offenders Act.
