STRONG START FOR SOLI BAILEY IN TAHITI

Soli Bailey is through to the Round of 32 at the Tahiti Pro, after a strong performance in his opening heat.
The Suffolk Park local was quick out of the blocks at the fabled left hander, a five point five the highest score of the heat.
A four point ride just minutes later was enough to secure the win over Brazil’s Gabriel Medina and Peterson Crisanto.
Bailey is currently 32nd on the rankings, with just four world tour events remaining.
