I-L-S GOES AHEAD FOR GOLD COAST

There’s praise and condemnation tonight after the Federal Government today approved an Instrument Landing System for Gold Coast Airport.

An I-L-S allows planes to land in bad weather, but they have to use a new flight path – over homes.
