WORLD CHAMPION PADDLER RECEIVES GOLD IN THAILAND

A Forster paddler has won gold at the Dragonboat World Championships in Thailand.

Peter Reed was one of ten Aussie paddlers in the mixed boat category and powered on to victory in his two-kilometre heat.

He also came third in the open category, while fellow Forster competitor Wendy Orman took out the women’s 20s to claim a bronze medal.
