FUNDING GIVEN FOR WATER PARK IMPROVEMENTS

$11.5-million dollars will be spent on improving water parks across the state.

The funding, which will be allocated to upgrading infrastructure, is the beginning of a 10-year investment plan.

“That will include potable water, power upgrades and sewer upgrades.- we are following that with a master planning exercise,” Steve Edmonds NSW Crown Holiday Parks Trust CEO said.

Focus will also be placed on increasing tourism opportunities.

“Quite exciting times for us- we’ve got a long term commitment to these parks and we want to keep them operational,” Mr Edmonds said.

Lake Keepit is just one of many state water parks to benefit from the investment.
