A vacant house at Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley went up in flames overnight, leaving nothing but a charcoaled structure behind.
Emergency services were called to the house on Sowerby Street at around 8 o’clock on Sunday evening, after smoke was seen billowing from the home.
Crews managed to extinguish the flames, with a search of the home confirming no one was inside.
Police are treating the blaze as suspicious
