WATERWAYS WILDLIFE PARK CLOSED INDEFINITELY

Gunnedah’s iconic Waterways Wildlife Park has been forced to close its doors.
The Department of Primary Industries has confirmed it will not be renewing the park’s permit, which allows them to display animals for public exhibition.
The park has been in a long-running battle with the DPI to ensure the park complies with safety regulations.
Owners Nancy and Colin Small say they would like to re-open the park in the future.
