Police are investigating a robbery at a Tamworth home, where a male occupant was stabbed yesterday.
Officers were called to the scene at around 2pm after reports an intruder stabbed another man in the neck with a knife, while demanding cash.
The injured man was transported to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
Police are still on the hunt for the accused, who they believe escaped in a 2000 model red Mazda sedan.
He’s described as being of Aboriginal appearance, with a medium build and a moustache.
