Central Coast Olympic boxer Jai Opetaia has successfully defended his Oceania Cruiserweight title as part of the main event at Luna Park overnight.

The young southpaw now boasts an impressive 18-zero record – after going the distance with New Zealand challenger – Nikolas Charalampous.

“And still the WBA Oceania Cruiserweight Champion and new WBL Global Cruiserweight Champion.”

While Umina PCYC’s Sam Goodman’s unbeaten run also continues – after the Super bantamweight won his undercard fight by TKO.
