POLICE APPEAL FOR ASSISTANCE FOLLOWING CRASH IN STATE’S NORTH
Police are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into a serious two-vehicle crash in the state’s north.
At around 5:30 yesterday, emergency services were called to Kyogle Road at Dum Dum, about 40km south-west of Tweed Heads, following reports a Subaru Impreza sedan and a VW Golf sedan had crashed.
The driver of the Golf, a 23-year-old Burleigh Heads man, suffered serious leg injuries and was flown to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the Subaru, a 77-year-old Uki woman, suffered internal injuries and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Police are investigating the cirumstances surrounding the incident.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.
