NEW RECORD PRICE SET AT TAMWORTH LAMB SALE

A new record has been set at the Tamworth Saleyards, with a heavy pen of lambs selling for $354 a head.

The hefty price skyrocketing past the previous local record of $330 a head set last year.

Tamworth’s record now sits just $1 under the national average.

Heavy lambs are high in demand at the moment, with five other vendors also passing the $300 mark.
