Very hot across the region again tomorrow with coastal sea breezes fighting to get in against the NW winds. A late southerly will move in over night but it won’t be a strong one, so things will be cooler for Central Coast, Newcastle to so southern parts of the MNC coast on Wednesday but it wont clear the heat inland so the mercury will re climb on Thursday across those regions. A stronger southerly will come through Friday and this will cool things down for the weekend after producing a run of showers and storms.

We always watch NBN weather and plan what we do around what Information Gavin provides as he doesn’t just read what he says. He knows what he is talking about.
So, it is with great disappointment that we must tell you that we are not happy with the way Gavin now seems to have to rush through his report but more so the end of it which displays the weather prognosis for the following 7-days. Is this because his segment is forced “short”?
In our early 60’s, my wife and I consider ourselves to be excellent readers but it seems that speed reading is now an essential skill when it comes time for the end of the weather report. “Gone in flash” sums it up!
How about axing a commercial or four and giving more time for Gavin to deliver the weather report?
You know, it could even be used as a community education tool.
