RFS URGES RESIDENTS TO TAKE CAUTION FROM FIRE SMOKE

Drivers are being urged to take care on the roads as smoke continues to linger from a bush fire burning at Port Macquarie.
The RFS is advising residents to drive to the conditions in early morning and late afternoon hours.
Anyone with respiratory conditions are also being advised to stay indoors when possible.
There’s no threat to homes, but thirteen crews remain on scene controlling the blaze which has burn through 300-hectares.
Smoke is expected to stay in the area for the next few days.
