A 34-year-old man is due back in court later today, charged with allegedly breaking into and stealing cash from the Muswellbrook Workers Club.
Officers arrested the 34-year-old on Scott Street around lunchtime on Thursday, before he was taken to the local police station where he charged with break, enter and steal.
It’s alleged the man gained access into the venue on Sydney Street at around 2 o’clock that morning, when he stole a sum of cash from the office and fled.
