The 21-year-old woman accused of bashing her own step-grandfather outside a Nerang chemist on Tuesday has been granted bail.
Tara Bell today claimed in court, it was Bruce Mcnair who sparked the violent confrontation, by making derogatory comments.
The 70-year-old sustained facial injuries during the attack.
