Multiple boats have been damaged, and one was completely destroyed, in an overnight fire at Lake Macquarie.
Crews were called to Wangi Wangi at around 2:30 on Monday morning, after reports an 11-metre cruiser was alight around 70-metres offshore.
Despite the best efforts of firefighters, including a crew onboard a boat, the vessel couldn’t be saved.
According to RFS, three other boats, including a 9-metre cruiser were damaged.
No injuries have been reported.
Water Police, Marine Rescue, RFS and Fire And Rescue were all involved in the operation.
