A youth group leader has been charged with the aggravated sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in the Hunter.
Police arrested the 22-year-old man at a Beresfield property on Friday morning, before searching a home near Belmont, where they seizing two vehicles for forensic testing.
It’s alleged the man sexually touched and assaulted the girl between April and May this year.
The man has since been stood down from his role.
