A woman has suffered severe facial injuries after being hit by a campervan at Empire Bay this morning.
Emergency services say the 24-year-old was walking along Rickard Road shortly before 6.30am, when she was clipped by the side mirror of the vehicle.
The woman was transported to John Hunter Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
