It may have taken a bit of coaxing to get him on the scales, but the Australian Reptile Park’s resident Galapagos tortoise has had his final weigh-in before his new girlfriend arrives.
68-year-old Hugo is expecting to meet the lovely lady Estrella, when she makes the trip over from Germany later this year.
There’s quite a significant age difference between the pair – 47 years in fact!
But that’s nothing for a Galapagos tortoise.
They’ve been known to live for as long as 200 years.
