GAV’S WEATHER | MORE WET WEATHER FOR THE COAST
For the centre of country it’s been sunny and dry.
Most of the coastal areas have become cloud affected.
Storms are rolling in across the west.
Showers also rolled in across the Central Coast, Newcastle to Port Macquarie and regions extending further north.
The country is still dominated by a large high which sits in over the southeast, generating moderate to strong onshore winds for the east coast.
The onshore winds will return; the cloudy skies and coastal showers building on Thursday.
The west coast will be hit by another powerful front keeping their wetter than average winter alive.
It will be a mild, fine day inland across the north-west.
Some showers will reach the Tablelands.
For the coast, strong onshore winds will produce more showers and continue over the weekend.
