POLICE SEARCH FOR CAR FOLLOWING TAMWORTH BREAK AND ENTERS

Police are searching for a vehicle believed to have been used in a crime spree last night.
Around 7.20 pm yesterday an unknown man allegedly broke into a motor home parked on the corner of Brisbane and Out Streets in Tamworth.
The man allegedly demanded the 81-year-old occupant to hand over his wallet, while kicking and threatening him with a knife.
Shortly after, two men entered a home on Dowell Avenue and demanded cash from a 21-year-old.
Police believe a Silver Mitsubishi Lancer, with the registration C-P-7-8-Z-S, may be linked to both cases.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact crime stoppers.
