MAN INJURED IN LATE NIGHT FALL FROM GOLF BUGGY

A 37-year-old man is recovering in hospital, after he fell from a golf buggy on the Central Coast.
The man was rushed to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital in a medically induced coma, with a suspected fractured skull and a bleed on the brain after the incident at Shelly Beach on Friday night.
Police have been told the man was one of three people riding in the buggy when it turned sharply at Grandview Street just before midnight – the man falling and hitting his head on the roadway.
The driver, an unknown female, left the scene before police arrived, while a 52-year-old was spoken to by officers.
