MAN INJURED, CAR SET ALIGHT IN ARMED ROBBERY AT STOCKTON

A man has suffered a laceration to his face, during an aggravated armed robbery at Stockton last night.

At around 11.30pm, two men entered a Fullerton Street pub, armed with what appeared to be a rifle and a tomahawk.

They threatened patrons and staff, and injured the 40-year-old man.

One of the men demanded cash before they both fled the scene in a car, which was later found on fire.

Police are investigating.
