THREE CHARGED AFTER POLICE PURSUIT AT MURWILLUMBAH
An investigation into the theft of a security van at Murwillumbah in the state’s north has led to the arrest of three men.
Officers found the van dumped at Dulguigan, after it was allegedly stolen at around 3:30 on Thursday afternoon.
While at the scene, a Ford Falcon was spotted nearby, with an attempt to stop the vehicle unsuccessful.
Queensland PolAir tracked the car, until it crashed into a tree at Chillingham.
Three men, who attempted to run from the scene were arrested and taken to Tweed Heads Police Station where they were charged.
