Hundreds were out enjoying the winter sun on Saturday, as Newcastle’s former railway station launched its very first market day.
‘Homegrown’ is a celebration of all things Newy, showcasing the city’s artists and craftspeople.
With workshops for the adults and scooter tracks for the kids, it was a day for all.
The heritage building will continue to come to life with food, music and stalls on the third Saturday of each month.
