WESTS DISMANTLE FORYSTHES IN NEWCASTLE NETBALL

Defending Newcastle Netball champions Wests have sent another emphatic message to the rest of the competition, dismantling the third-placed Forysthes this afternoon.

The clear ladder leaders were at their best, opening up an early lead, and running away with it.

Just as impressive was their defence.

Forsythes put up a fight – this heavy collision saw skipper Sophie Buckley go off, but that didn’t change the result.

They finished 43-goal winners.

Elsewhere, the Lions stayed in second.

BNC jump into third place, while Nova Thunder aren’t far behind the top four, in fifth.
