Retired police officers on the mid north coast have been honoured in special ceremonies across the region, as part of the inaugural New South Wales Retired Police Day.
In Taree, around 100 former officers were recognised for their dedication to the force.
“Today I am honoured to present the 150th anniversary pins to so many of you who have proudly served the New South Wales police force.”
Among them were some well-known faces formerly tied to the Manning-Great Lakes command.
