BRISBANE WINS TAMWORTH BASEBALL CARNIVAL

To baseball and Brisbane have defended their 10 year title at Tamworth’s Baseball Association’s Long Weekend Cup, taking out the first grade competition.

They defeated Tamworth 13-runs to 3.

In the B-grade, Sydney’s Misfits dominated the Penrith Beers 5-runs to 4.

While in the women’s, the Penrith Beers were too strong for the Sydney Panthers.

A record high 49 teams competed in the carnival.
