ICY COLD NIGHT ON THE WAY
The cold air is still drawing in off the Southern Ocean, bringing cloud cover for the south-east.
The strongest fronts of the past year will sweep across the Tasman tomorrow, set to generate swell for the east coast.
Locally, we have a very cold night ahead with severe inland frosts for the Tablelands.
Cold, southerly winds will continue as we move towards the weekend, and coastal showers will begin to develop.
The large high in the Bight will keep most of the country dry, while the increased cloud over north-east Queensland will produce some rain.
A front is also on approach to the south-west corner of Western Australia.
