A 60-year-old man is recovering in hospital, after he was attacked with a machete during a brazen home invasion at East Gosford on the Central Coast.
The man suffered lacerations and a suspected broken arm in the incident, in which a man and a woman forced their way into the home on White Street.
Emergency services were called at around 8:20 in the evening, with the injured man taken to Gosford Hospital for treatment.
Officers have been told the masked man attacked the 60-year-old with a machete and demanded money, before both intruders made off in a sports car.
