Australia’s biggest annual doorknock gets underway this weekend, with the Salvation Army hoping to raise $200,000 in the Hunter alone.
Today, volunteers took the Red Shield Appeal aboard Newcastle’s trams…
And found passengers more than willing to donate to help the Salvos, help others.
It’s hoped the appeal will raise $8-million nationally.
