Charges have been laid against a 35-year-old man, who it’s alleged sexually abused a teenage girl who he’d met on social media earlier this year.
The Armidale man was arrested on Thursday, before being charged with seven offences including three counts of aggravated sexual assault.
As part of the investigation, officers searched a home with drug paraphernalia, and electronic storage devices seized.
Police will allege in court the man offered the 15-year-old money and drugs for sexual intercourse.
