Roadwork between Lake Cathie and Bonny Hills will continue until the end of the year, but motorists and cyclists, are being promised a vastly improved ride when it’s all done.
Ocean Drive is being widened and strengthened as part of the work, which will also see the introduction of on-road cycle lanes.
The $3-million project is part of the council’s plan to rehabilitate some of its major thoroughfares.
