MILLION PAWS WALK A SUCCESS IN COFFS

Around 500 dog owners and their pets took part in this morning’s Million Paws Walk in Coffs Harbour.
There was perfect sunny Autumn weather for the four-kilometre trek from Park Beach along Coffs Creek to the Jetty.
The RSPCA fundraiser, which is now in its 25th year, helps to care for the more than 30-thousand animals each year.
“This is one of our biggest days of the year, it is a great opportunity for all of our rescue dogs to come out, everybody gets the chance to walk their dog, have a good time and we get to raise some money for a really important cause.”
The annual walk was held at a number of locations across the state.
