The Salvation Army says its Red Shield Appeal will continue at other locations, after half of its roadside donation points were canned due to safety concerns.
In a statement, the Salvos says no injuries have been recorded at its roadside collections, and it’s working with Roads and Maritime Services to find alternatives.
The annual Red Shield Appeal will kick off on May 25.
