Defending Surftag champions Leba have taken out heat two at this year’s national series on the Gold Coast, smashing closest rivals, Seaford by more than 15 points.
James Wood took advantage of today’s tricky conditions to take home the second highest wave score of the day.

Leba will surf for a consecutive title in tomorrow’s finals at D’Bah.
