JUST IN – A 76-year-old who was reported missing from his Kahibah home on Monday afternoon has been found safe and well at Newcastle West.

Police are continuing to search bushland in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Kahibah, as they look to locate a 76-year-old man who was reported missing on Monday.

Robert Sims was last seen leaving his home on Frith Street at around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, with new information pointing police towards the Newcastle CBD.
It’s understood the 76-year-old may have attempted to catch a bus into town at around 2:30 in the afternoon, with his ATM card used at Marketown Shopping Centre at around 6pm.
