DRIVER PINNED AFTER TRUCK ROLLS IN COFFS HARBOUR CBD

A truck driver is lucky to be alive after his B-Double rolled on the Pacific Highway at Coffs Harbour on Tuesday night.
The truck, carrying scrap metal, rolled in the CBD just after 11pm between McLean and Moonee Streets.
The driver was pinned by his legs, and it took rescue crews almost an hour to free him, before he was taken to Coffs Harbour hospital.
The clean up continued into the early hours of the morning, with traffic diversions in place.
It’s the second truck rollover in Coffs Harbour in a week, and police are urging drivers to be mindful of their speed and fatigue.
Police are seeking witnesses as investigations continue.
