TELECOMMUNICATIONS BOOST FOR GUYRA, TAMWORTH AND THE LIVERPOOL PLAINS

Guyra, Liverpool Plains, and Tamworth will see, a $90 million boost to telecommunications infrastructure.

A high-speed broadband service to the Gunnedah Shire – is among more than 80 projects to be funded by the federal government.

Guyra will also have a better connection – in areas including Elm Street, and the New England Highway.

The infrastructure is hoped to help businesses expand.

The federal funding follows a 2018 review of regional telecommunications services.
