RAIL TRAIL FOR CYCLISTS AND WALKERS BECOMES FEDERAL ELECTION ISSUE

A plan to convert a disused railway corridor into a cycling and walking track has floundered for almost a decade, without federal funding.

But today the Richmond Vale Rail Trail became an election issue… supporters saying it will replicate the success of the popular Fernleigh Track.
