CAUSE OF LISMORE FIRE YET TO BE DETERMINED

The cause of a fire which destroyed a popular wedding venue in Lismore has yet to be determined.

Firefighters were called to Rous Road just after 3pm yesterday, to find the property fully engulfed.

Crews brought the blaze under control a short time later, but the damage bill is expected to run into hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Police aren’t treating the incident as suspicious.
