A man is lucky to be alive after he was pulled unconscious from the Brunswick River on Thursday.
Emergency services, including the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter, raced to the scene late in the afternoon after reports a man had been pulled from the water.
Bystanders performed CPR prior to the arrival of paramedics, with the man eventually stabilised with assistance from the helicopter’s medical team.
He was taken by road to Tweed Heads Hospital.
