If you heard a loud bang in the Lake Macquarie area at around nine o’clock last night, you’re not alone.
There were dozens of reports and Facebook posts from residents in several suburbs, including Whitebridge, Valentine and Cameron Park.
But with Geoscience Australia saying there was NO seismic activity overnight, the source of the noise is likely to remain a mystery.
