TERRIGAL BOARDWALK PLANS ON HOLD FOR ENGINEER VISIT

Central Coast Council has put the Terrigal boardwalk project on hold until engineers can examine the site.

It had been asked to consider matching $2.9 million in state funding for the stretch, linking the Haven to Terrigal Beach on Monday night.

Planned upgrades to make the nearby rockpools safer will proceed as planned, with the work due to be finished by summer.
