HUNTER HARDEST HIT BY STORMS, ACCORDING TO NRMA

We’ve certainly seen some wild weather over the last 12 months, but according to insurance data, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley were the hardest hit in state.

The region accounts for 14% of all storm and hail damage claims to the NRMA from August last year to this month.

Maryland topped the list of local suburbs worst affected, followed by Charlestown and Shortland.
