WOMAN CHARGED OVER SERIOUS CRASH NEAR BYRON BAY

A 32-year-old woman has been charged with more than 20 offences, after a serious crash on the state’s north coast last year.
It’s alleged the Sydney woman was behind the wheel of a Suzuki Vitara, which collided head on with a Suzuki Swift on Myocum Road at Ewingsdale on October 25.
The driver of the Swift, a 19-year-old woman from Mullumbimby suffered a fractured spine and sternum in the crash.
Following inquiries, the 32-year-old was arrested on Sunday and charged with 21 offences, including driving under the influence of drugs.
She was granted bail and is due back in Byron Bay Local Court in June.
