BALLINA COUNCILLORS VOTE UNANIMOUSLY TO END ONE-WAY TRAFFIC TRIAL

Two-way traffic will return to Ballina Street, Lennox Head after council voted unanimously to end the one-way trial.

It was originally slated to continue until July but a flood of community criticism, including from local businesses saw the trial end early.

Councillors came to a decision on the issue in less than 20 minutes.

Agreeing with local business owners, the economic risk of continuing the trial through Easter was “too great”.
