Three men are lucky to be alive after an overnight boating accident near Crescent Head.
They were onboard a 30-foot motor cruiser when it struck a reef at high speed at around 1 o’clock this morning.
Marine Rescue, paramedics and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter assisted the injured men back to shore.
All three were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
One was later flown to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital suffering spinal fractures.
